Senior .NET/C# Developer

ObjectStyle is a provider of open source solutions and commercial software development services with offices in the US and Poland. We are a major driving force behind such projects as Apache Cayenne – a powerful ORM framework, Bootique.io – a container-less Java app launcher, LinkRest – a model-driven REST engine, and a number of others. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our core team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable backend services for our diverse client projects. This is a senior role that requires deep technical expertise, a passion for clean code, and the ability to tackle challenging problems in distributed systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using .NET/C#.
• Write clean, modular, and fully unit-testable code.
• Implement large-scale features and refactoring efforts incrementally.
• Collaborate with the team to define technical specifications and embrace strong engineering principles.

What We’re Looking For (Required):

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend technologies.
• Senior-level expertise in .NET and C#.
• Proven experience with concurrent programming and distributed systems.
• A “clean coder” who writes maintainable, well-tested code and understands the importance of separation of concerns, abstractions, and modularity.
• Ability to break down complex tasks and implement them incrementally.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
