Senior Manual QA Engineer

We are a major driving force behind such projects as Apache Cayenne – a powerful ORM framework, Bootique.io – a container-less Java app launcher, LinkRest – a model-driven REST engine, and a number of others. Our clients are located in the US, Australia, and EU. We work with the National Hockey League, Wikipedia, and other great companies.

Summary:

We’re looking for a skilled Mobile QA engineer to join our team. Healthy workplace, supportive environment, long-term projects in such fields as sport and education. The project has a well-defined process, with continuous integration, weekly release cycles, and decent test documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting manual functional and regression testing of mobile and web applications using UI and API;
• Writing related test documentation (test cases, bug reports, test result reports);
• Collaborative work with the development team.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English at level B2 or above;
• Three or more years of relevant experience in software testing;
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database testing purposes;
• A relevant degree in computer science or a related field is preferred;
• Proven experience in testing mobile applications, including both native and hybrid apps;
• Ability to work with browser consoles and other developer tools for web application testing;
• Proficiency in working with API documentation and testing tools like Postman and Charles Proxy;
• Familiarity with tools such as simulators and emulators for mobile application testing, such as Browserstack;
• Experience in utilizing task/bug trackers for efficient task management, including the ability to provide detailed descriptions of tasks/bugs with supporting materials like screenshots, videos, and logs.
