Part-time Product Development Manager – Medicare Platform

ObjectStyle is a provider of open-source solutions and commercial software development services with offices in the US and Poland. We are a major driving force behind projects such as Apache Cayenne  a powerful ORM framework; Bootique.io — a containerless Java application launcher; LinkRest — a model-driven REST engine; and several others. Our clients are based in the US, Australia, and the EU. We work with organizations like the National Hockey League, Wikipedia, and other leading companies.

Client: a modern, secure, and intuitive Medicare-focused platform that helps clinics streamline patient intake, eligibility verification, claims submission, and compliance reporting.

We’re looking for a Product Development Manager who understands the unique challenges of small-to-midsize clinics – from eligibility checks to claim appeals. You will own the product roadmap, translate Medicare rules into user-friendly features, and work closely with CTO to deliver measurable efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define product vision & roadmap for a Medicare-focused platform, balancing clinic user needs and business goals.
• Become the domain expert in Medicare workflows – patient intake, eligibility verification, and reporting.
• Work directly with clinic staff (billers, office managers, providers) to uncover pain points and translate them into prioritized features.
• Collaborate with engineering team on UX.
• Data-driven decision making – using analytics to prioritize.
• Monitor product performance from inception to operational delivery.

Qualifications:

• Healthcare experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in product development.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating standard BA documentation (e.g., BRDs, user stories).
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
