Mobile QA Engineer

ObjectStyle is a provider of open source solutions and commercial software development services with offices in the US and Poland. We are a major driving force behind such projects as Apache Cayenne – a powerful ORM framework, Bootique.io – a container-less Java app launcher, LinkRest – a model-driven REST engine, and a number of others. Our clients are located in the US, Australia, and EU. We work with the National Hockey League, Wikipedia, and other great companies.

Summary:

We’re looking for a skilled Mobile QA engineer to join our team. Healthy workplace, supportive environment, long-term projects in such fields as sport and education. The project is a trainig/knowledge retention platform for corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting manual functional and regression testing of mobile and web applications using UI and API
• Writing related test documentation (test cases, bug reports, test result reports)
• Collaborative work with the development team

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in software testing
• Proven experience testing mobile applications, including native and hybrid apps
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools such as simulators and emulators
• Knowledge of test automation using Python, including the ability to run, maintain, and evaluate automated tests, as well as participate in automation efforts
• Experience using task and bug tracking tools, with the ability to provide detailed reports supported by screenshots, videos, and logs
• Sufficient knowledge of SQL queries for database testing purposes
