Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer with extensive experience in testing mobile applications and validating APIs. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting issues, and collaborating with developers to ensure our mobile app and APIs meet the highest quality standards.
Position Overview:
As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying issues, and ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set into automation testing with Java knowledge, supported by mentorship and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test plans based on requirements.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues; collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Perform regression, functional, and usability testing.
- Contribute to test documentation and reporting.
- Learn and grow your automation skills by assisting with automation tasks and scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and improve testing processes.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in QA testing software applications.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Basic familiarity with programming concepts; some exposure to Java is a plus but not required.
- Eagerness to learn automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Java) with support from the team.
- Good communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Exposure to automation frameworks or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
