We are looking for a mid-to-senior Java developer to join us in the Minsk office. A successful candidate will become a part of the team working with our strategic customer National Hockey League. She or he will be working on automating various aspects of the League business, from hockey referees assignments / travel to hockey arena operations to scouting, to HR and finance, etc. We are fully responsible for the architecture and implementation of the platform for all these applications. Our stack includes Java 8 (with a few older apps still running on Java 7), Bootique, Agrest, Apache Cayenne, JAX-RS, MySQL DB, RabbitMQ, Bamboo CI. Front-end is written in ReactJS and Sencha/ExtJS.
Another possible and quite challenging aspect of this job is participation or even taking ownership in the development of some of the open source frameworks above as well as internal frameworks that we create for the League, that include technologies for OAuth, data encryption, content management, functional programming libraries, etc. This type of work requires a somewhat different way of thinking from traditional application development. So this part is optional. But for the interested and qualified candidates this will be an exciting opportunity to hone their API development and library architecture skills.
Our expectations from the candidate:
- Java 8 SE
- Jersey, JAX-RS, Guice, Bootique

- Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible
- Atlassian Bamboo CI (Specs)
- Flexible schedule
- Open-minded management
- Regular code reviews
- Great opportunity to make a huge impact to the project
- Product quality as first priority
